Colombian investment in Peru to reach $9.6 billion

Investments of Colombian companies in Peru are expected to reach $9.6 billion this year.

Several Colombian firms has expressed interest in investing in Peru, mainly in sectors such as oil, electricity and in power transmission line construction," Colombia Business Council president Carlos Caro said.

Caro highlighted Peru's tourism boom, adding that Colombia's largest hotel firms are seeking to enter the Peruvian market.
