Colombian President starts state visit to Europe
Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos has started a visit to Europe this week which aims to bolster support for the country's peace process, promote foreign investment and move forward in eliminating Schengen visa for Colombian travelers.
Santos's first visit will be with Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.
Spain is one of Colombia's main trading partners, and the European country is promoting the elimination of the Schengen visa, a process which officials say is 70 percent complete.
