Colombian shoe makers seek to have an 80 percent participation in the national market in the next three to five years.
Currently, national producers have a 40 percent participation, according to the sector's authority, Acicam.
The low participation is mainly attributed to unfair competition from Asia, Acicam president Luis Gustavo Flórez said.
