Colombians win Panama’s $269 million Metrobus

The tender for the Metrobus, Panama City’s new system of public buses, was won by Transporte Masivo de Panamá, a Colombian-Panamanian consortium.
The consortium received the highest points in the technical and financial contest. The financial offer was $269 million.
Of three consortiums that competed for the project one failed to meet the terms of the tender.
