Colombia's Duque launches Growth Law

Colombia’s President Ivan Duque signed the “Economic Growth Law” after it was approved by Congress. The administration hopes the law will spur foreign direct investment and grow the economy.

The law includes a tax credit designed to offset value added tax to the poorest 20 per cent of households and reduces the health contribution of the lowest income pensioners, Finance Colombia reports.
