Colon Free Trade Zone activity drops 8 percent

Panama's Colon Free Trade Zone exports reached $13.5 billion during the first half of the year.

The figure shows an 8 percent drop compared to the same period last year.

The drop is mainly the result of Venezuelan companies' debt and a new tax imposed by Colombia.
