Companies and consumers still lack confidence in El Salvador’s incipient recovery

Tuesday, August 31, 2010

Although the Fusades economic think tank has informed that El Salvador’s economy has recovered slightly after hitting bottom in the first quarter of this year, confidence has yet to revive.

According to Fusades, indices of confidence from companies and consumers have almost stagnated, despite a very slight increase in June and July.

The confidence index stands at 96.8, still below the historical figure of 100.6.
