Concern over future of Costa Rica's dry season

Friday, November 2, 2012

The deficit in rains this rainy season may cause problems for Costa Rica’s agribusiness and electric production in the upcoming months.

In mid November, most parts of the country will enter the dry season, which concerns authorities, as the current rainy season has seen significantly less rains than normal.

Some agricultural areas may have issues with water supply, for which they will need to take measures in order to prepare.
