Condor Resources could sell in Nicaragua

Wednesday, January 12, 2011

Condor Resources, the best performing London-listed mining company last year, said it could sell its Poterillos and Estrella concessions in Nicaragua to focus on developing other projects in the country.

Shares in the AIM-listed gold and silver explorer surged almost 2,500 percent in 2010. They have since pulled back to mid-December levels.

On January 4, Condor said its flagship La India project holds an estimated 868,000 gold ounces on an inferred basis. The figure is based on historical exploration work carried out before Condor acquired 80 percent last September via a concession swap with Canada's B2Gold Corp.
