Consorcio Eolico Amayo closes Nicaragua Phase II wind project financing

Consorcio Eolico Amayo (Phase II), a subsidiary of AEI, Centrans Energy Services and Energia Eolica de Nicaragua, has closed a long-term, non-recourse project financing for its second phase wind project in Nicaragua.

 

The $45 million loan facility is a 15-year term loan arranged by the Netherlands Development Finance Company and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration. The 23.1 megawatt Amayo II wind project combines with the Amayo I wind project to form a total capacity of 63 megawatts.
