Consortium becomes largest Costa Rican legal firm

Consortium Legal of Costa Rica has recruited over a dozen lawyers from prominent local firm Batalla Salto Luna, adding substantially to its headcount and establishing a large in-house tax team to directly challenge the Big Four accounting firms.

Consortium Legal announced the lateral hire of Batalla Salto Luna name partners Diego Salto, 46, and Rafael Luna, 47, earlier this month. They are joined by former Battala associates Adrián Alvarenga, 38, Anayansi Mora, 38, and Cristina Sansonetti, 37, who have been made partner.
