Construction in Costa Rica drops 6 percent

Construction in Costa Rica dropped 6 percent during the first four months of the year, Costa Rican newspaper La República reported.
Among the factors that slowed down the sector were an oversupply of real estate, a drop in economic activity and uncertainty concerning credits.
Office building projects are among the most affected by the drop, with 13 percent new office buildings empty.
