Convenience stores grow in Costa Rica

The convenience store sector is dynamic and growing in Costa Rica.
Two companies, Deli Mart and Unimercados, expect to open six stores by the end of the year, and compete against firms such as AMPM, Fresh Market, Vindi and Musmanni, Costa Rican daily La República reported.
Last year, convenience store sales in the Central American country reached $190 million, and are expected to surpass $510 million by 2018.
