Conventions boost Panama's early-year tourism figures

Tourism in Panama rose by 5.7 percent year-on-year in the first two months.

Over the period, 429,000 visitors were welcomed, an increase of 23,000 over the same period of last year.

The number of business conventions in January and February boosted this year's figures.
