Corruption makes Mexico lag in world economy

Corruption in Mexico is one of the main causes holding the country back in the global economy, according to business leaders and analysts.

Mexico came in at number 106 of 177 economies in Transparency International's Corruption Perception Index 2013.

Other global institutes, such as the World Economic Forum, had already highlighted corruption as one of Mexico's top problems.
