Costa Rica among 4G technology leaders
Movistar, subsidiary o Spanish telecoms firm Telefónica, will launch its 4G network in Costa Rica in July, Costa Rican daily La República reported.
Movistar is the last of the three networks operating in Costa Rica to launch 4G technology, after state-owned ICE's Kölbi and América Móvil's Claro launched theirs earlier this year.
The country will also be the fourth in Latin America in terms of 4G network development, after Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
