Costa Rica and Colombia in talks on trade accord

Representatives of Costa Rica and Colombia have launched talks on a free trade accord between the two countries.

The treaty offers Costa Rica a major plus in the form an an entry to the South American market, the Costa Rican trade minister, Anabel González, said in an article in the daily La República.

However, several Costa Rican business leaders have reservations about the plan.
