Costa Rica and Nicaragua on red alert for killer hurricane Otto

Authorities in Panama reported four dead and one person missing by midday yesterday as a result of the passage of tropical storm Otto, now upgraded to hurricane strength.

Meanwhile, Costa Rica has declared a red alert along its Caribbean coast, as has Nicaragua. In all the Caribbean coast of both countries have 11,000 people currently rated at risk as a result of Otto.
