Costa Rica and Panama sign agreement with Efta

Costa Rica and Panama yesterday signed a free trade agreement with the European Free Trade Association, known as Efta.
Costa Rican Foreign Minister Anabel González said: "It's a strategic component in our plan to boost trade with Europe."
Trade between Panama, Costa Rica and Efta reached $689 million in 2012.
