Costa Rica beer imports surge 67 percent

Beer imports to Costa Rica in the last four years went from $8.8 million in 2012 to $14 million in 2016, which is an increase of 67 percent.

According to the the export promotion agency, Procomer, the main source of imports is the United States with $7 million recorded in 2016, followed by Mexico, with $3.4 million.
