Costa Rica boosts medical tourism plans with visits to companies from United States

A group of 11 business leaders from the United States visited Costa Rican health centers with the aim of checking out the possibilities of offering health insurance for employees.

This contact is part of a scheme to attract 100,000 medical tourists a year to Costa Rica in the next three years.

So far two such tours have been held. The companies that have been invited have a minimum of 2,000 employees.
