Costa Rica boosts technical education

Costa Rica's first private technical education college opened in Heredia, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

The aim is for students to integrate into companies operating in the area and establish agreements with other countries.

Initially, the college will offer degrees in accounting, software development, electronics and telecoms, and all students will study English, Portuguese and Mandarin.
