Costa Rica business confidence drops most since 2011

Businesses in Costa Rica are less optimistic about the economy for this year's second quarter, dropping to 6 points on a scale of one to 10, a poll showed.

The drop comes as businesses struggle with high electricity bills and the country's fiscal deficit.

The drop is the lowest since the fourth quarter of 2011, when it reached 5.5 points.
