Costa Rica-Colombia trade accord approved

The free trade agreement between Colombia and Costa Rica was approved during the second round of talks, the Colombian Trade Ministry said.

Costa Rica will gradually deduct taxes on 98 percent of its industrial goods, however, Colombia will ahve immediate access to 74 percent.

Colombia mainly sells to Costa Rica chemicals, plastics and agro-industrial products.
