Costa Rica debt swallows lion’s share of increase in nation’s budget

The cost of servicing Costa Rica’s debt is growing increasingly, and that means few resources for the government’s productive efforts and the need for more financing.
The budget approved by the Legislative Assembly wil include cuts in Health and Finance. However, the adjustment amounts to a mere 0.25 percent of the total.
