Costa Rica exports to region grow 36 percent

Costa Rica's exports to the rest of Central America grew 36 percent last year, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

The figure represents exports that reached $1.9 billion.

Central America accounts for 24 percent of Costa Rica's total exports, dominated mainly by Guatemalan and Salvadoran bilateral trade.
