Costa Rica government targets meetings market

Costa Rica’s official tourism authority, the ICT, is working on a plan to move into the market for business gatherings.

The authority will need to seek a company that is an expert on the niche in order to develop the new Convention Center under a concession. At the same time it will have to position the country as an attractive venue for business events.
