Costa Rica hits $10.5 billion in export revenue

Costa Rica has almost doubled its gross export revenue over the last ten years, reaching $10.5 billion last year.

"Costa Rica has taken advantage of the favorable trade agreements that it has signed," says Anabel González, Cost Rica’s trade minister.

The most exported products are Intel micro-processors, reaching $1.89 billion. These are followed by a range of agricultural exports including bananas, with a value of $778 million and pineapples worth $725 million.
