Costa Rica Internet is second slowest in region

Costa Rica's Internet connection speed is the second slowest in Central America, at an average of 2 megas.

Costa Rica surpasses only Guatemala in the region, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

The country's broadband penetration level is the main factor contributing to slow speeds.
