Costa Rica is apple of eye for Colombian investors

Costa Rica is the favorite destination for investors from Colombia.

Recently, companies such as Grupo Aval, Colombia's largest financial holding group, and Acesco, manufacturer of industrial machine parts, have opened businesses in Costa Rica.

Together, Colombian companies now control 15 per cent of Costa Rica's bank credits, 10 percent of the banana-producing sector and 30 percent of the paint industry.
