Costa Rica is fourth on Earth Island Institute Ethical Traveler list

Travelers today have access to far more information than in the past and as the world becomes ever more interconnected, being an ethical traveler becomes both easier and more urgent.

Ethical Traveler, a project of the Earth Island Institute, based in San Francisco, ranks Costa Rica in the 2010/2011 ""The Developing World's 10 Best Ethical Destinations", behind Argentina, Barbados and Chile.

Rounding out the top ten list that follow Costa Rica are Dominica, Latvia, Lithuania, Palau, Poland and Uruguay.
