Costa Rica is haven for multinational health industry

Costa Rica is fast becoming a haven for international medical services companies.

Currently there are 50 medical services and life-sciences companies in Costa Rica, a considerable increase from eight in 2000.

These companies have brought benefits such as jobs for some 15,500 Costa Ricans, international recognition and access to the world's most important markets.
