Costa Rica is Panama's strongest trade partner

Costa Rica is Panama's main Central American trade partner, according to the Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration, Sieca.

Last year, 53 percent of Panama's total exports went to Costa Rica.

The figure represents sales worth $12.9 million, while Costa Rica's exports to Panama reached $125.2 million.
