Costa Rica is still waiting for $1 billion from IDB

Costa Rica has built up a credit portfolio with the Inter-American Development Bank of $1.5 billion. But only $431 million has been disbursed, so the remainder awaits the new government.

The projects that are waiting in line include initiatives that include public works, energy, innovation and modernization of the State, according to Verónica Zavala, the IDB's regional manager.
