Costa Rica leads in human development

Costa Rica is the leading Central American country in the World Economic Forum's human development index, Costa Rican daily La República reported.
The country stands out for its investment in education, which this year represented 7 percent of the gross domestic product.
That level of investment is crucial in attracting foreign investment, and now 250 foreign companies operate in the country.
