Costa Rica leads the region in pay TV

Costa Rica is Central America’s leader in penetration of TV subscription services, both in number of platforms and titles available for video streaming, according to the Business Bureau consultancy.

Some 52 percent of Costa Rican homes have a pay TV service, with more than 716,000 subscribers, except for Guatemala and Honduras, which have more in numbers but with less penetation.
