Costa Rica makes progress in plan for development of port terminal at Moín
Costa Rica’s government has completed the final steps needed for Americas Gateway Development Corporation (Amega) to begin the second phase of studies for a new transfer terminal near Moín port.
The government will select an independent auditor within the next three weeks, which will be hired through a trust set up by Amega. The company will invest some $14.9 million to complete detailed designs which cover technical, legal, financial and environmental aspects of the project, as well as preparing the tender document drafts.
