Costa Rica moves forward with Megaport project

America Gateway Development Corporation, Amega, began the design of a $900-million mega port in Moín, on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica.
The company has already invested $26 million in permits and preliminary plans for the port, which would serve as a transfer port for large vessels, Costa Rican daily La República reported.
Currently only Colombia, Mexico and the U.S. have deep-water ports on the Caribbean.
