Costa Rica needs a quick fix for country risk

A lowering of Costa Rica's country risk would cost many problems beyond the market's perception.

At the beginning of the year, the ratings agencies indicated that they would not evaluate the sovereign rating until the new government took over and presented solutions to the problem of the fiscal deficit.

But that was four months and the pressure for solutions to the deficit is growing, but no solution is in sight.
