Costa Rica plans Chinese-style special zone

China and Costa Rica agreed to plan the construction of a Chinese-style special economic zone in Costa Rica.

The accord was the most significant of eight that concluded the visit to China by the Costa Rican president, Laura Chinchilla.

Chinchilla heads out to South Korea this weekend to conclude her Asian tour.
