Costa Rica poverty hits five-year high

Poverty in Costa Rica reached 22.4 percent, its highest level in five years.

The figure represents a growth of 2 percent compared with 2013, according to a government poll.

The poll shows that 318,810 homes are in poverty, 32,727 more than last year.
