Costa Rica reverses trend in exports

Costa Rica is one of only two Latin American countres whose exports are growing. The nation’s export strategy has been to seek new products and markets, and it is paying off.

Exports in general in Latin America are down by 9 percent. But Costa Rica’s overseas sales have risen by 4 percent.
