Costa Rica’s Chinchilla heads to United States in bid to drum up investment

Laura Chinchilla, the Costa Rican president, is to visit the United States from May 14 through 21 with the aim of attracting investment.

Chinchiila said that she aims to promote Costa Rica as “the leading exporter of high technology and the second leading exporter of software in Latin America.”

Chinchilla will visit San Francisco before going to Washington.
