Costa Rica’s export highway gets ready for the builders

Costa Rica’s Route 32 from San José to Limón on the Caribbean is likely to be approved by environmental authorities by the end of this month or early October.

The expansion of the road is vital to the $1 billion development of the Moín container terminal. If approval is forthcoming, work will immediately begin. If approval is rejected, a legal quagmire will emerge.
