Costa Rica's fiscal gap grows for sixth year

Costa Rica's fiscal deficit grew for the sixth consecutive year, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Tax collection has slowed down due to a more sluggish economy and a rising interest rate on the country's debt.

Government spending grew 1 percent, with debt interest rates representing half that figure.
