Costa Rica’s ICE aims to buck trend decline in state telephone companies. New strategy with Microsoft for Kölbi portal

\ State telephone companies in Mexico and Central America have been absorbed by private enterprise. The only exceptions are Costa Rica and Honduras.\ \ In order to avoid suffering the same fate, Costa Rica’s state-owned company, Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad, or ICE, has launched a series of changes with the aim of making it more competitive. The changes range from improvements in promotion of the ICE products to internal re-engineering of management.\ \ Last week the most recent development of the strategy was the signing of a strategy to promote its Kölbi portal with Microsoft.\ \ Original source (in Spanish): La República\ \ \ \
