Costa Rica's ICE seeks to enter pay TV market

Costa Rica's state-owned utility ICE is seeking to participate in the pay TV market, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Currently the sector is shared between Tigo and Cabletica in cable television, while Claro and Sky are the players in the satellite television market.

ICE will participate through its brand Kölbi TV, and is expecting to use its acquisition of Cablevisión to boost its presence in the market.
