Costa Rica’s launch of competition in cellphone services faces another snag

The long wait for the opening of competition in cellphone services in Costa Rica is going to be longer.

Deadlines have been set by the presentation of bids and publication of documents but several issues have yet to be resolved.

The timetable sets November 5 as the day in which bids are to be received by interested parties.

However, the law demands that at least a fortnight earlier the bids and their documentation have to be presented.
