Costa Rica's Limón mega port in race against time

The completion of Costa Rica's Limón mega port project will be a priority for the new government, due to the series of delays it has faced, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Construction work was scheduled to begin in October las year, but the project has yet to receive an environmental license.

The port is expected to attract investment and complement a special economic zone in the Caribbean that will operate under a special tax exemption system.
