Costa Rica's Medical Travel Summit aims to break attendance record this year
The 2012 Medical Travel Summit in San José, Costa Rica, hosted by the Council for the International Promotion of Costa Rica Medicine, will be held in April this year.
This year, the summit is expected to break last year's attendance record of more than 500, and promises to be one of the most valuable medical tourism events of 2012.
Novasans, a website dedicated to medical tourism, estimated that up to 100,000 medical tourists visited Costa Rica in 2010, mostly from the United States and Canada.
